(please read the following instructions carefully)
- The Hi-tech Porcelain Pen gives a high gloss finish which after baking in the oven (30mins, at 170°C) is dishwasher-safe.
- The Marabu-Porcelain Painter is ideal for writing and painting on the gift you have chosen. Follow the instructions for baking.
Use of the Valve System
Before use, shake the pen well with the cap closed. Press on the tip repeatedly until the ink is visible (do not continue once the ink appears in the tip as this may overload it). Try using the painter on a piece of scrap paper first (not on the object to be painted until you are sure that the flow is smooth). Please make sure that the object to be painted is thoroughly cleaned before writing or painting, with thinners or white spirit. After use, close the pen cap well (until it clicks).
Baking and Fixing
To achieve a permanent, dishwasher-safe finish:
Allow the painted gift to dry for approximately 4 hours and then place it into an unheated oven. Set the temperature to 170°C and bake for approximately 30 minutes. Turn off the heat, allow item to cool down in the closed oven. Do not remove until cool.
